Earlier this year we began searching for a new home. One of our friends recommended Mark to us, to undertake a building inspection of a property that attracted our attention. He promptly completed the inspection and gave us a practical, yet comprehensive assessment of the house at a very reasonable price. Any questions or queries were discussed and answered fully. As a result of our good introductory experience with Mark we retained him to carry out a further building inspection of another home that we were particularly interested in. This second assignment was conducted equally well and we subsequently bought this property. In his report Mark highlighted some remedial/renovation work that needed to be carried out and we took this into account when we negotiated the purchase. We then hired Mark and his team to undertake a building contract which involved the removal of a large rotting deck, the construction of a completely new deck with two sets of stairs; a series of internal modifications throughout the house; and strengthening of a wrap-around verandah. At the conclusion of the contract Mark compiled a maintenance plan for our new home.
